4. Cookies and Embedded Third-Party Content

The website of STEINBAUER LECHNER s.r.o. uses technical, analytics and marketing cookies to ensure proper website operation, improve its content, analyse traffic and assess the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Strictly necessary technical cookies ensure essential website functions, security and correct display. These include, for example, the “pll_language” cookie, which remembers the selected website language. Such cookies are necessary to provide the relevant website functions and do not require the visitor’s consent.

Analytics cookies allow the Company to collect information about website traffic, how the website is used and visitor behaviour. This information is used to optimise the website and improve its functionality and user experience.

Marketing cookies may be used to assess marketing campaigns, display relevant advertising content and measure the effectiveness of the Company’s promotional activities.

Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with the visitor’s prior consent, unless applicable law permits their use without consent. Visitors may accept or reject individual categories through the cookie settings and withdraw their consent at any time as easily as they gave it. Rejecting optional cookies does not affect the basic functionality of the website.

The website may include content embedded from third parties, in particular Google Maps on the Contact page and a YouTube video on the About Us page. This content is loaded only after the visitor activates it, provided that the website is technically configured accordingly. Activation may result in the transmission of technical data, in particular the IP address, to the relevant service provider and the use of cookies or similar technologies. Where consent is required for such processing, the content will be activated only after consent has been given.

Detailed information about the cookies used, their providers, purposes and lifetimes is made available to visitors through the cookie settings on the website.

The Company processes personal data obtained through analytics and marketing technologies on the basis of the data subject’s consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, where the conditions for relying on that basis are met. Any transfers of personal data to service providers outside the European Economic Area take place only in compliance with applicable personal data protection requirements.

5. Recipients of Personal Data and International Transfers

Access to personal data may be granted, to the extent necessary, to authorised Company personnel and contracted web-hosting, website administration and IT support providers, who may act as processors. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

When Google Maps and YouTube services are activated, technical data may be transferred to the relevant provider and potentially outside the European Economic Area. The specific recipients, countries and applicable transfer mechanisms (e.g. adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) depend on the actual configuration of the services. The Company does not anticipate other transfers to third countries as part of normal website operation.

6. Rights of Data Subjects

Subject to the conditions laid down in the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. These rights are not absolute and apply subject to statutory conditions.

You may submit requests to sales@steinbauer-lechner.cz or to the Company’s registered office; alternatively, you may contact us by telephone at +420 387 011 312.
