FROM PROTOTYPE TO SERIAL PRODUCTION

At STEINBAUER, we develop and manufacture steel racks, pallets, stands and transport trolleys tailored to the specific product and logistics process. From the first design and prototype through functional verification to single-piece or repeated serial production, we keep the entire process under control.

THE OPTIMAL SOLUTION FOR EVERY PROJECT

For prototypes, special structures and smaller series, we use flexible manual welding. For repeated and larger series, the production process can be set up for robotic welding, with an emphasis on stability, repeatability and production efficiency. We also complete the structures with plywood, plastics, technical foams, castors and other functional elements.

Yes. Prototyping is an important part of development. We produce the first piece, verify the dimensions, functionality, handling and positioning of the product, and can adjust the design before the series.

From the first design through prototyping, welding and surface treatment to assembly and serial production. We adapt the structure to the product, the handling and the requirements of the specific logistics process.

1. Development and design
We design steel racks, transport pallets, stands and trolleys according to the specific application. We take into account the load, the dimensions of the product, fixation, ergonomics, stacking and the method of handling.

2. Prototyping
The first prototype makes it possible to verify the structure in real operation before the series is launched. We check the positioning of the product, operator access, handling points, the functionality of the fixations and the overall practicality of the solution. We incorporate the findings into the final design.

3. Manual and robotic welding
For single-piece production and structurally variable projects, we use manual welding. For repeated series, we can optimise the process for robotic welding, which supports high repeatability and efficient production. Where appropriate, we combine both methods.

4. Material combinations and assembly
Depending on its function, we complement the steel structure with other materials and components. This creates a complete transport or handling unit ready for the specific product.

5. Surface treatments
