FROM DEVELOPMENT TO SERIAL PRODUCTION

At STEINBAUER, we develop and manufacture shipping crates for batteries and battery systems. We adapt the design to the dimensions, weight, battery type, method of handling and the requirements of the specific transport project.

DESIGNED FOR SAFE TRANSPORT

We combine development with prototype production and the manufacture of battery mock-ups for testing purposes, design verification and testing. Depending on project requirements, we also prepare the packaging for dangerous goods testing at BAM or a BAM-recognised testing facility.

Once the solution is approved, we ensure repeatable serial production in our own production plant.

2. Materials and construction

3. Testing and approval

4. Internal fixation
We design precise fixation and damping systems for the safe positioning of the battery and the limitation of movement during handling and transport.

5. Serial production
After the design is approved, we transfer the solution into stable serial production with an emphasis on repeatability, precision and quality control.

6. Logistics
We deliver the finished crates with our own transport or through proven logistics partners.
