At STEINBAUER, we design and manufacture custom-made pallets and slatted crates with a focus on economic reality and our customers’ needs, insisting on solid quality and functionality. We produce the individual parts of the slatted crates or complete pallets using modern CNC technologies and automated machines, assemble them expertly in our own production plant and deliver them reliably to our customers – with our own transport or through proven logistics partners.

Yes. We design slatted crates and pallets according to the dimensions, weight, sensitivity and handling requirements of the specific product. We manufacture standard designs as well as fully individual solutions.

Yes. We routinely manufacture slatted crates and pallets in series as well, on our machines dedicated to serial production.

Our slatted crates and pallets are intended for the safe transport and storage of industrial components and products. They are used, for example, in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and other industrial sectors.

Depending on project requirements, we use plywood from all over the world, OSB, certified solid wood and various technical foams. We combine the materials with regard to the required strength, weight, operating environment and country of destination, as well as the mode of transport.

Yes. We design and manufacture the interior fittings of the slatted crates, fixation systems for slatted crates and pallets, and handling elements precisely according to the shape and requirements of the component being transported. The goal is not only optimal but also safe protection of the packed product during handling, transport and storage.

Yes. For every slatted crate or pallet, from a single piece upwards, we produce a three-dimensional protective bag in any size. Depending on project requirements, we use PE foil, VCI foil or aluminium barrier foil. We complement these barrier packages with desiccants or VCI capsules.

Yes. Using our own capacities, we handle development, design, CNC machining, welding of accessories, assembly and final finishing. We then deliver the finished slatted crates and pallets with our own vehicle fleet or through a proven logistics partner.

Production time depends on the dimensions, design complexity, materials used and the required equipment or quantity. We set the exact date after evaluating the technical documentation; the usual lead time ranges from one day up to 14 days for larger orders.

For the initial design, we mainly need the dimensions and weight of the component, the method of handling, the place of destination, protection requirements and information about transport and storage conditions. If available, drawings, 3D data or photographs of the packed product are also helpful. If the customer has their own documentation, we take it over and deliver a customer-specific solution.

Yes. We mark the slatted crates with company logos, technical markings, identification labels, addresses, safety elements and other graphics according to the customer’s requirements. The same applies to pallets, with the limitation of the usable surface.

Yes. We supply slatted crates and pallets to customers in the Czech Republic and across Europe. The specific method of transport and handover is determined by the place of destination, the dimensions and the project requirements.

IPPC – safe wooden packaging for international transport is our standard

Our wooden pallets and slatted crates meet the requirements of the international standard ISPM 15 (IPPC) for the use of wood packaging material in international transport.

The wood we use undergoes the prescribed heat treatment (HT – Heat Treatment), which reduces the risk of pest spread and allows the packaging to be used for export to countries requiring the ISPM 15 standard.

The packaging bears the corresponding IPPC mark, which confirms that the required treatment has been carried out and facilitates the smooth movement of goods across international markets.

NW – we also produce packaging without solid wood

NW (Non-Solid Wood Packaging) is a modern solution for international transport based on industrially processed wood materials such as plywood, OSB and other panel materials.

Thanks to these materials, packaging can be designed without untreated solid wood, which simplifies the requirements associated with phytosanitary regulations in international transport. At the same time, they provide high strength, precise workmanship and reliable product protection.

For the customer, this means easier export, efficient logistics and a reliable packaging solution ready for international transport.

We design every slatted crate or pallet with regard to the dimensions, weight, sensitivity and handling requirements of the component being transported. We realise standard designs as well as fully individualised special solutions.

We design the fixations according to the specific application. Precisely manufactured fixation and mounting parts protect sensitive components during transport, handling and storage.

5. Marking and final finish
We provide the slatted crates and pallets with company branding, individual markings and identification elements corresponding to the specific project.

6. Logistics
Reliable delivery is in our own hands. We deliver the pallets and slatted crates to our customers with our own fleet of trucks, which allows us to respond flexibly to requirements and better guarantee delivery dates.
