OH&S POLICY
Occupational Health and Safety
STEINBAUER LECHNER Ltd. considers occupational health and safety (OH&S) an integral part of its management and day-to-day operations. Our objective is to provide safe and healthy working conditions, prevent work-related injury and ill health, and continually improve both our OH&S performance and our OH&S management system.
Company management is committed to the following principles:
1. Safe and healthy working conditions We provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, as well as other undesired work-related incidents.
2. Elimination of hazards and reduction of OH&S risks We systematically identify hazards, assess OH&S risks and implement effective preventive measures to eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks to the lowest practicable level.
3. Fulfilment of legal and other requirements We monitor and fulfil applicable legal requirements and other requirements relating to occupational health and safety. Compliance with these obligations and requirements is regularly evaluated.
4. Safety as an integral part of our decisions We consider OH&S requirements when planning work processes, organizing work, purchasing new machinery, equipment and technologies, and implementing changes to our production processes.
5. Responsibility of our partners We require suppliers, subcontractors and other persons working at our workplaces to comply with established OH&S requirements. We inform them about relevant hazards, risks and safety requirements.
6. Consultation and participation of workers We promote the consultation and active participation of workers in identifying hazards, reducing OH&S risks, improving working conditions and developing our OH&S management system. We provide opportunities for open communication on all occupational health and safety matters.
7. Competence, training and awareness We systematically develop the competence of our workers and enhance their knowledge, skills and OH&S awareness through training, enabling them to perform their work safely and responsibly.
8. Prevention and monitoring We regularly monitor compliance with established OH&S rules, evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and take action to prevent work-related injuries, ill health, accidents and other undesired incidents.
9. Continual improvement We establish OH&S objectives, monitor their achievement and continually improve our OH&S performance and the effectiveness of our OH&S management system in accordance with the principles of ISO 45001:2018.

The management of STEINBAUER LECHNER Ltd. is committed to providing the resources necessary to implement this policy, regularly reviewing the OH&S Policy and ensuring its continuing suitability with regard to the company’s activities, working conditions, and identified risks and opportunities.
This OH&S Policy applies to all workers within the company. Each worker contributes, within their area of responsibility, to creating a safe and healthy working environment and achieving the established OH&S objectives.
